Joining the Knights of Columbus

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is:

 

Open to Any Practicing Catholic Man who is in Union with the Holy See

  • Lives up to the Commandments of God

  • Lives up to the Precepts of the Church

  • Who are at least 18 years old

Application blanks are available from any current Knight

Benefits of joining Bishop Haas Council #4362

Bishop Haas Council #4362 is a multi-church Council.  The churches involved with Bishop Haas Council #4362 are:

  • Our Lady of Sorrows, Grand Rapids, MI

  • St. John Vianney, Wyoming, MI

 

Note: You do not have to be a member of one of these churches to join our Council, you can attend any Catholic Church of your choice.

 

The Bishop Haas Council covers the following activities:

 

Church – Help at church picnics, hold Corporate Communion Masses, pray the Rosary as a group, help wherever needed in the church

 

Family – We have many functions for the families of Knights including our Annual Summer Picnic, Halloween Party, Christmas Party along with many other functions throughout the year.

 

Youth – We have an Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Free Throw Contest, Substance Abuse Poster Contest, Soccer Kick Tournament, serve breakfast monthly for under privleged boys, and several other functions throughout the year.

 

Council – Monthly membership meeting first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. Bowling League, Pool League, Friday Night Grill's which are done several times a year, Fish Fry's during Lent, Michigan Knights State Bowling Tournament, Golf Outings, the Annual "Tootsie Roll Drive" benefiting the Mentally Impaired, Special Olympics and Special Education programs in our area schools, etc.
